I realized that my website has not seen the light of day since I created it in 2013 aka a lifetime ago! Time to come out from hiding and start fresh! My entire website is about to undergo a face lift so hold tight (no pun intended lol)! New and up to date blog posts with my latest work, behind the scenes, and everything else I adore will be up soon!

I came across this scandalous article in the NY Times and had to post this craziness ASAP. Can you imagine buying a Jackson Pollock masterpiece for millions, only to find out it was a fake made in a basement?! I have been told by my Professors that "true artists steal from other artist" and become very successful in stealing conceptual ideas and making them their own. This however, this takes stealing to another level!
I would love to meet the unknown artist/genius who had the talent to adapt from one artistic style to another. ![]() According to my mom and her health nut friends, juicing fruits and vegetables does wonders for the heart and soul. I thought I would give this juicing thing a try, since I am trying to loose the seven pounds I gained while abroad. (The tastiest seven pounds I have ever gained!) My first juicing experience was a success! However, when I looked at the concoction I produced, all I could see was Kermit the Frog. In a liquid form..gross! I quickly moved passed my horrifying Sesame Street visual and tried out my new juice and to my surprise, I was pleased with the healthy snack! I thought I would share the ingrediants just in case you were interested in trying something new, healthy, and surprising filling! Don't feel obligated to use the exact ingredients you see below, there is no right or wrong when it comes to juicing! Put your juicer to the test!Handful of baby kale
2 celery stalks Handful of baby carrots Handful of brocoli (I had some left over from dinner) 2 apples (any kind will do) 2 tablespoons of flaxseed meal 2 tablespoons of french vanilla yogurt Why So Serious?![]() Looking serious as always while I paint a winding street filled with tiny cars and stacked apartment buildings. The meandering street cascades towards the small city of Ascoli, Piceno where suave Europeans sip on their cappuccinos and quietly converse with one another. (Without the distraction of a buzzing iPhone) I was hopeful for a sunny morning so I could tan and paint simultaneously. Sadly, the whether was rather disappointing this particular day :( |
